The Resort

Altafiumara Resort & Spa is set on a panoramic estate of more than ten hectares of Mediterranean parkland overlooking the sea on the Costa Viola, between Villa San Giovanni and the Strait of Messina, Calabria. The resort consists of three main buildings--The Castle, The Sporting and The Islands--each with its own architectural and landscape identity, nestled among gardens, vistas and paths overlooking the sea or Mediterranean nature.

This combination of natural beauty, spaciousness and different types of accommodation allows families to choose the accommodation that best suits their needs, whether a more intimate room or a suite with a sea view.
The environment is designed to offer tranquility and contact with nature, so that children can move around safely and adults can enjoy quiet moments

The resort is open year-round limited to the Castle, while the other buildings follow the following openings:
- THE ISLANDS: open from mid-May to mid-September,
- SPORTING: open from mid-April to mid-October.

A short distance away is the beach affiliated with the resort, conveniently accessible by a shuttle at set times.

Mini club and children's activities

From mid-June to mid-September, the resort offers a Mini Club and Junior Club - aimed at children and teens aged 3 to 17.
Run by qualified animators, the space is dedicated to entertainment and fun with fun, sports and creative activities designed for different age groups.

The time slots vary throughout the week and offer parents the opportunity to alternate between relaxing moments with the SPA or walks in the scenic gardens, knowing that their children are carefully supervised and involved in fun experiences.

The spa

The heart of wellness within the facility is Essentia Spa, an area dedicated to the regeneration of body and mind. Here you can find relaxation paths with sauna, Turkish bath, emotional showers, heated hydro-pool, relaxation areas and personalized treatments for moments of deep regeneration.

The SPA is designed to offer an environment of peace and quiet: light-filled spaces, sensory pathways and areas dedicated to taking a break (such as the herbal tea corner) invite guests to slow down the pace.
The SPA and indoor pool are reserved for adults only.

Catering

The facility offers half board (breakfast and dinner) and full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner).

Both formulas include catering that is attentive to the needs of the youngest guests, with dedicated children's menus prepared with simple, wholesome ingredients suitable for different age groups.
Upon request, customized baby dishes such as baby food, vegetable broths and purees are available.

To promote serenity and organization for families, the hotel provides time slots dedicated exclusively to children, allowing them to have lunch and dinner in a quiet environment and at times that suit their pace. During these times, a dedicated children's menu is served, designed to meet the tastes of the little ones and support proper nutrition.
